Mecha Maki

Mecha Maki, made by Gimme The Loot, is our 3rd game produced during my education at The Game Assembly. In this Shmup you play as a chef in a world where fish carries mechanic armour. You need to help the chef hunt his most important ingredients from the sea and fight the mechanical fish along the way.

I worked closely with the level designers and exported the levels that they built in Tiled. I also contributed by creating a level manager and checkpoint system.

I also made a system for creating pickups using a factory design pattern along with a system for representing the pickups in the HUD.
